Capturing Baby Jude: a surprise mini session
Lauren reached out to me a few weeks back with a photo of baby Jude asking if I'd like to come meet him. We had long planned for her daughter Madi and my daughter Olive to meet each other seeing as they are the same age and their personalities are similar. This was the perfect time to bring Olive over, let the girls have a play date, and for all of us to gahhh over baby Jude.
I decided to bring my camera because Lauren and Patrick have been long-time clients of mine. They continue to choose me to take their family photos, and I wanted to let them know how much I appreciate them by capturing some extra newborn photos of Jude that they can cherish forever.
When we arrived, Olive and I took turns giving Jude all the love and snuggles. He is already so expressive, with his big brown eyes and his adorable smile. I'm very much looking forward to taking their family photos this spring so I can capture even more moments of him.
The girls played for a long time - dressing up as princesses, coloring and creating art. It was fun to see them interacting together, and to witness Madi and Dylan outside of their typical photography sessions. Their family photoshoots have always taken place somewhere else - Schuster's Farm, Olbrich Gardens...but I got to see a different side of them being in the comfort of their own home.
Meeting Jude was a highlight to my weekend!
