"Let me love you a little more, before you're not little anymore"

it's all about the kids
One of my favorite things about being a Family Photographer, is photographing the kids. There is something so special about their curiosity towards the world around them, and their desire to be present while exploring. This poses some challenges while photographing of course, but I see it as a blessing to be able to capture them outside, in a place where they get to fully be themselves.
This session was one for the books. This was my second time photographing the Klingaman's. Seeing the kids grow up before my eyes is a wild and somewhat overwhelming experience (in a good way!). It's hard to witness the rate at which they grow, and how fast life seems to go sometimes. That being said, I'm so glad I get to capture the beauty that life is.
This session was originally planned for Edna Elmer Conservation Park, but with a storm rolling in, we opted for McCarthy Park in case we needed shelter. I'm so glad we decided to go that route, because the pictures turned out beautiful, and the cows came out after our session! 🐮
We missed the storm by a few minutes, and everyone enjoyed saying hello to the animals. If you're not familiar with McCarthy Park, one of the trails butts up to a fence that is part of the farm next door. The cows come by and say hi often, so if you'd like to really immerse yourself in nature, I recommend this as your next hiking spot!
All in all, I loved catching up with this family, hearing about what the kids are up to now, and getting to see them again. I always look forward to it!
